인도양의 진주라 불리는 스리랑카에 다녀왔습니다:)

대부분의 여행지를 버스와 기차로 이동해야 하는 번거로움도 있지만, 어딜 가던지 여행자를 보며 반갑게 인사해주는 스리랑카인들이 아직도 기억에 많이 남네요!

여미팀은 에어아시아를 타고 약 일주일간 스리랑카에 다녀왔는데요! 비자는 공항에서 도착하셔서 하실 수 있고, 루피라는 화폐를 쓰는데 1달러에 150루피 정도 한다고 생각하시면 됩니당!

스리랑카에서 여행자들이 가장 많이 찾는 곳은 아무래도 교통의 관문인 콜롬보(수도가 아니라는 사실...), 캔디, 시기리야, 하퓨탈레, 누와라엘리야, 엘라, 웰리가마 등이 있습니다.

어느 곳을 가던지 한국에서 일하고 계신 스리랑카분들이 많으셔서, 웃음으로 환대해주시고 한국에서 왔다고 하면 '안녕하세요'로 인사해주시는 분들도 많았답니다:)

특히나 좋았던 여행지는 정글 위에 우뚝 솟은 '시기리야락'을 볼 수 있었던 시기리야 그리고 전 세계에서 가장 큰 홍차 재배지였던 '하퓨탈레' 지역, 아찔한 다리를 볼 수 있었던 엘라의 '나인 아치 브릿지' 그리고 서핑을 즐길 수 있는 '웰리가마 베이'였습니다.

영상에 나오는 미디가마 해변에서의 스틸트 피싱의 경우, 이제는 상업화되어서 돈을 주고만 촬영을 할 수가 있어요... 눈으로만 담으신다면 괜찮은데, 이제는 그 장면 연출하는 것도 돈을 주어야 하긴 합니다...ㅠ_ㅠ

일정상 캔디 지역을 가지 못한 것이 너무 아쉬운데요...ㅠ 스리랑카 가실 분들은 꼭 가보시길 바래요!

스리랑카의 경우 한국에서 대한항공 직항이 있기는 한데... 가격이 부담되어서 저희는 훨씬 저렴한 에어아시아를 타고 말레이시아를 경유해서 갔어요~! 또한, 스리랑카 여행을 계획하신다면 꼭 몰디브도 일정에 넣어보시길 바랍니다! 스리랑카랑 몰디브랑 생각보다 가깝기도 하고, 양국의 국민들을 대상으로 오가는 항공권의 경우 저렴한 경우가 있다는 꾸르팁..☆

I have been to Sri Lanka called the Indian Pearl :)

It is a hassle to travel to most destinations by bus and train, but I still remember a lot of Sri Lankans who greet people who greet visitors and see them wherever they go!

I have been to Sri Lanka for about a week on AirAsia! Visa can be arrived at the airport and you can think of it as Rupee 150 Rupees for a dollar.

Travelers in Sri Lanka are most likely to find Colombo (not the capital city), the gateway to traffic, Candy, Sigiriya, Hefutare, Nuwara Elijah, Ella and Welly Gama.

There are many Sri Lankan who work in Korea where they go, and many of you are greeting with laughter and greeting with 'Hello' when you come from Korea :)

Also, if you are planning to travel to Sri Lanka, please make sure Maldives is on your schedule! Sri Lanka and Maldives are closer than I thought, and tickets for the people of both countries are cheap.

If you are looking for a new destination in Asia, I highly recommend it! Sri Lanka is the best!
