창덕궁은 1405년 경복궁의 이궁으로 지은 궁궐이다. 경복궁의 동쪽에 위치한다 하여 이웃한 창경궁과 더불어 동궐이라 불렀다. 임진왜란으로 모든 궁궐이 불에 타자 광해군 때에 다시 짓고 고종이 경복궁을 중건하기까지 정궁 역할을 하였다. 조선의 궁궐 중 가장 오랫동안 임금들이 거처했던 궁궐이다.
경복궁의 주요 건물이 좌우대칭의 일직선상에 놓여 있다면 창덕궁은 산자락을 따라 건물들을 골짜기에 안기도록 배치하여 한국 궁궐 건축의 비정형적 조형미를 대표하고 있다. 또한, 비원으로 잘 알려진 창덕궁 후원은 다양한 정자, 연못, 수목, 괴석이 어우러진 아름다운 곳이다. 현재 남아있는 조선의 궁궐 중 그 원형이 가장 잘 보존된 창덕궁은 자연과의 조화로운 배치가 탁월한 점에서 1997년 유네스코 세계문화유산으로 등록되었다.

남대문은....
서울의 정문, 국보 1호 숭례문이다. 한양 도성의 남쪽문이자 정문의 역할을 했던 문으로 한양 성곽과 함께 1396년에 만들어졌다. 조선에서 가장 큰 문으로 서울 사람들에게는 자부심의 대상이었으며, 지방 사람들에게는 한 번 보고 가면 큰 자랑거리가 되는 그런 문이었다. 만들어지고 나서 몇 번을 고치게 되는데, 특히 세종 때 기록에 표현된 대로 ‘신작’, 즉 새로 지어지는 것과 마찬가지인 대규모의 중수를 거치게 된다.
숭례문이 위치한 자리가 낮아 정문으로서 품위가 없을뿐더러 남쪽 목멱산과 서쪽 인왕산을 연결하는 이곳의 지대를 높여 경복궁이 아늑한 지세 안에 있게 하자는 풍수지리상의 이유에서이다. 숭례문은 임진왜란이라는 큰 난리에도 불구하고 온전하게 보존되어 오다 일제 때에 이르러 문의 양끝으로 이어져 있던 성곽이 허물어지고 그 옆으로 전차와 차들이 다니게 되면서 600년 조선 왕조의 정문 역할을 마감하게 된다.
이후 100여 년 동안 달리는 차들과 높은 빌딩에 둘러싸여 외딴 섬처럼 외롭게 서 있던 숭례문은 2005년 주변 차로를 정리하고 공원을 꾸미는 공사를 통하여 다시 가까이에서 볼 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 그것도 잠시, 2008년 2월 화재로 말미암아 숭례문을 잃어 버렸다. 임진왜란도, 한국전쟁의 난리도 무사히 겪은 이 문이 한 순간에 재로 변하게 되었다. 2013년 4월 29일 복원공사가 완공되어, 5월 4일 복구 기념식이 있었다. 일제 때 잘려버린 좌우측 성곽을 복구하는 등 조선 시대 당시 모습에 더욱 가깝게 만들었다.

The restoration work was completed on April 29, 2013, and the recovery ceremony was held on May 4. It restored the left and right castles that had been cut off during the Japanese occupation, and made them closer to the time of the Joseon Dynasty.

Kyng-bok Palace is the first court of the Joseon Dynasty.
In front of Gwanghwamun which is the main gate, there is a wide yukchon street (now Sejongno), and it is also the center of Hanyang (Seoul) city planning which is the royal road.
It was founded in 1395 by Taejo Lee Sung-gyeong. It was burnt down in 1592 by Imjin Jungran. It was rebuilt in 1867, when it was Kojong. The Gyeongbok Palace, which was led by the Heungseon Daewongun, was a majestic figure of 500 buildings with a maze of stairs.
Inside the palaces, the king 's and government' s administrative facilities, royal living space, and support space for relaxation were created. It is also a place where many small palaces are gathered again in palaces such as the palace of the queen, the palace of the palace, and the royal palace of Gojong. -알로프트 서울 명동 호텔 한국은행 본점과 신세계백화점 본점 로타리에 위치한 정말 위치 좋은 명동호텔, 직접 가보니 건물이 너무 깨끗해서 알아봤더니 올해 2월에 만들어진 새 호텔(최고!) W XYZ 바 분위기는 최고였고, 여기에서 나오는 햄버거는 정말 인정! 방에서 보는 서울 도심 뷰가 정말 좋은 곳.
